I am an experienced clinical social worker and psychoanalyst.  People find me easy to talk to, active and committed to assisting all patients to reach their potential. I strive to create a trusting relationship allowing for the openness necessary to explore the troubling concerns that brought people to therapy. I treat people age 18 on.  In many respects, many people, but not all, are seeking therapy in order to deal with difficult feelings related to a loss of some kind. A relationship break-up, loss of a job, loss of a loved one, loss of a hope/dream, to name a few.  Ensuing feelings range from mild anxiety and depression to profound feelings of the same. Sometimes problems are of long duration.  Sometimes more situational.  I work with all sorts of people contending with a variety of life challenges.  My goal is to facilitate growth and self-awareness and help a person derive as much satisfaction from their life as possible.
