Uncovering the best possible version of you. This is what we strive for as we heal. I hear you,  being heard is the most important part of therapy. We all need to be heard even when it is too hard for us to be seen. I treat the whole person not just the diagnosis. We are each a whole person not just our anxiety, depression, or diagnosis.  My dedication and focus on the needs of my clients is the most important part of therapy, through this we can create a united and unique therapeutic bond. I am active in session to provide interventions and help you progress in each therapy session gaining lasting results.

I practice psychodynamic, strength-based, CBT, and Mindfulness. I am trained in individual, couples, and family therapy. I am adept at working with a variety of disorders, including anxiety, depression, adjustment, mood, bi-polar, and self-esteem building, and the broad spectrum of personality disorders.  Again, my motto is to treat the whole person.

I am a therapist who works well with a variety of populations including, underserved, working, and entertainment/creatives. I worked in entertainment for over 25 years as a p.a to a supervising producer/EP.  I left production and became a mental health counselor, 4 years ago and have a very unique perspective on therapy and the entertainment industry.

What clients have to say about me.....

Vito "Kristine is the best therapies, I struggled with substance and OCD for years, she has saved my life"

Maria "For many years I struggled to find a therapist that my daughter would actually love and open up to. Last year I found Kristine and made the first appointment. My daughter (a teenager) was skeptical but went anyway. By the end of the session, my daughter was in love with Kristine. I decided to become Kristine’s patient as well. We both see her and she’s helped a lot. She’s great!! And even though we moved all the way to the Bronx, we still make the trip to Brooklyn once a week just to see her. "

Allison - I've been going to therapists and mental health practitioners for 15 years and this facility is by far the best. my therapist, Kristine, is amazing. she has helped me far beyond any therapists I've ever been to. I'm so happy I found her."
