I work with individuals, couples, and groups in an interactive, collaborative style that is both challenging and compassionate. My goal is to help you pursue growth and healing so you can experience fulfillment in your life.
I have a results-oriented focus in all the therapy work I do. I utilize psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help individuals recover from setbacks, learn new ways of coping, improve their relationships, and enjoy life more.
As a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, I am trained to help couples develop safe and constructive communication skills that enable them to restore closeness and resolve conflicts effectively.
I am also a Certified Group Psychotherapist. Periodically, I offer an 8-week relationship group for singles of all ages who want to learn tips and tools for finding and keeping love. I also lead an ongoing psychotherapy group for women who want to improve their relationship skills and self-esteem and a long-term psychotherapy group for men and women who want to learn to cope more successfully, communicate more effectively, and connect more deeply. See details on these groups below.
My office is conveniently located near Metro, across from the National Zoo. I offer a free initial telephone consultation to all prospective clients.
