Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

I have always believed in the potential of my clients’ growth and ability to master difficulties in their lives.  For each individual, the journey toward this end varies, as our history and experiences are unique.

I am relational in my style and see the therapy session as collaborative in working together to bring about the results you desire.

Due to the Pandemic, I offer phone sessions and telemedicine via Zoom, Facetime and other modalities.  I am not seeing clients in my office at the present time.

My particular specialties are in trauma (PTSD) and grief.  Though the grief work may often be around the death of a significant loved one, as well as our pet (s), other losses that bring about change are equally important to acknowledge.

No loss is insignificant.  It challenges us emotionally, physically and spiritually.  My experience has been that in working through the loss and trauma, one is able to heal and move forward in embracing life more fully.

There are times that Coaching is often the avenue toward accomplishing a particular plan or goal that is more future oriented.  I am very open to working with clients toward that end.

Because therapy is so individual, I use numerous approaches including EMDR, Gentle Reprocessing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping) and Mindfulness.  Together we will discover what works best for your individual needs.

Please feel free to call or e-mail me with questions.  I look forward to hearing from you.
