Adolescent and Family Therapist

Family and Divorce Mediator

HelpPRO President

Please note: My part-time private practice is full right now, so I am not accepting new clients. However, as the president of HelpPRO, I would be glad to help you find a therapist to meet your needs. Please call the HelpPRO office @ 781-862-5215.

My practice is primarily focused on adolescents and families. If I were accepting new clients, some questions to parents would be: Are you and your teenager struggling with issues about friends, curfew, behavior at home or school? Or are you worried that he or she is depressed, withdrawn, anxious or having trouble eating or sleeping?

I would ask teens: Do you feel your parents are too involved in your life, or not involved enough, or just don't understand you. Do you feel depressed and stressed out? Have you thought of suicide? Have you cut yourself to feel better?

I have over 40 years of experience working with adolescents and families in crisis. I have seen a lot and managed to help hundreds of families negotiate their way through this most turbulent of times.

While my orientation is in family systems, my approach is eclectic. I use my knowledge and experience to help kids and parents get unstuck, find better ways to communicate and make the changes that allow the family to provide comfort and safety.
