Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, work stress, or relationship conflict? Are you experiencing a transition such as marriage, parenting, divorce, aging parents, or job change? Do you feel isolated and unsure of how to move forward? It can be difficult to deal with these issues alone and therapy can help. Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and it should be someone with whom you feel comfortable. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which we work together to identify problems and find solutions. Therapy can provide you with the skills you need to make real changes in your life.
My clinical experience includes extensive training in the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, life transitions and addiction. My training includes a five year clinical position at UCSD Outpatient Psychiatric Services and thirteen years in private practice. I work with adults of all ages who are experiencing difficulty with mood disorders, life transitions, relationship issues, parenting, chronic pain and chronic illness, or issues of grief and loss. My goal is to provide a safe environment in which change can occur.
I would be happy to speak with you to determine whether I might be of help. I am a panel provider for a number of insurances and offer a sliding scale out-of-pocket fee for individuals who do not have insurance.”
