Congratulations on taking this first step to your well being. I realize that reaching out for help can be incredibly challenging and I hope that I can help make this an easier journey for you. For therapy to work you need to feel safe and secure so you can express yourself and process the struggles that are holding you back. I work to provide a safe place for you to work through any needs and concerns that you have.

I understand that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming and I strive to make this process as smooth as possible. I work from a very empowering perspective to help you take back control of your life. I specialize in treating trauma (acute and chronic), stage of life transitions and anxiety. I recognize that so often significant changes and stressors in our life can trigger feelings of fear, anxiety, depression and even anger. It is important to address those feelings before they cause further problems and get in the way of your life. I will work to help you combat the triggers, feelings, negative self talk and emotional strife so you can fully process anything holding you back.

I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained and certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional. I use my training in EMDR to help individuals combat symptoms of trauma, anxiety, panic, depression and phobia. Very often I use EMDR to help individuals who have not previously been helped by traditional talk therapy.

I believe in making therapy accessible and convenient so I have created a telehealth treatment program, using secure video connection, in order to best help you or your loved ones in attending therapy when and where is the most convenient for you and your family.

I do look forward to hearing from you and please feel free to call or email me so we can arrange a 15 minute free consultation.
