I strive to provide compassionate, goal-directed, personalized counseling and therapy services for individuals, couples and families from all over the northwest and western suburbs of Chicago.

I am passionate about working with families who have experienced (or are in the midst of) divorce or are blending families.  As a child of divorce, I understand how complicated and stressful that family, change, and moving forward can be.  I really enjoy empowering adolescents, teens, and adults by helping them learn and build effective coping strategies to work through anxiety, anger, and depression and moving toward peace, which is crucial for healing.

With my experience and training, I also have a lot to contribute on the other side as a Gottman Certified Couple's Therapist, helping couples heal using Gottman's Seven Principles For Making Marriage Work!

I provide a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically helping clients by teaching stress management skills that include mindfulness and relaxation exercises, effective communication and problem-solving skills, and emotional regulation skills.

I empower my clients with a variety of strengths-based strategiesI am passionate about helping my clients learn the skills necessary for a greater sense of peace, happiness and fulfillment in their lives, especially in their relationships with others!

I am an open-minded, active listener who provides a safe and comfortable environment for clients to share their thoughts and feelings without feeling judged. I help clients to make connections between their thoughts, feelings and beliefs, and teach them how to look at challenging situations from different perspectives.

I offer a free, 15 minute telephone consultation to determine if I am the right fit to meet your needs. Call 630-797-9192 today to start your journey toward a happier, healthier you!
